Set on an elevated lot in El Cerrito, this project involved a full renovation of an existing home with a focus on opening up the layout, improving natural light, and creating a stronger connection between indoor and outdoor spaces. The exterior was updated with clean, modern lines, new siding, and a redesigned entry that gives the home a contemporary yet understated presence from the street.

Inside, the layout was reworked to create an open and functional main living area anchored by a modern kitchen with custom cabinetry, a large island, and stone countertops. Wide-plank wood flooring, vaulted ceilings, and carefully selected lighting carry throughout the home, creating a bright and cohesive interior. Large sliding doors extend the living spaces into multiple outdoor areas, including a private courtyard and patio, making the home well suited for both everyday living and entertaining. Updated bathrooms and private bedroom spaces complete the renovation, resulting in a comfortable, move-in-ready home that reflects Stroud Development’s thoughtful approach to design and remodeling.
